I just saw the minion movie and I love it.
I already really liked the minions so I had high expectations for the movie.

The movie shows us the story how the minions got to Gru. It's funny, sweet and a heartwarming story. Kevin, Bob and Stuart go on the greatest adventure of their lives all across the world to save them from boredom.

It does not matter if you are 2 years old or 80. The movie is always funny!
I highly recommend this one!!!

the taking of deborah logan (2014)

The taking of Deborah Logan is a 2014 horror movie.
I saw this one in the cinema and it was crazy good and weird.

The movie is shot as a documentary. The first thought I had was that it looks like paranormal activity but it turned out completely different.
It's a thrilling movie with a good flow. It does not get boring and more towards the end of the movie it get's creepier.

The movie is about a student who does research for Alzheimer for her school project. She meets Deborah Logan and her daughter, they agreed to document Deborah's illness.
It soon shows that Deborah is not only affected by the Alzheimer but also something dark a not from this world.

The only negative I have to say about this movie is the way of they shot the movie. because they want to suggest that it's an amateur documentary the movie shakes. You do not notice it so much later on in the movie when it's getting really crazy but at the beginning it's pretty annoying.

I rate the movie a 7.5/10.

Cinderella (2015)

Hallo.

Last monday I went with a few friends to the new Cinderella movie.
I knew that this movie would be the same as the cartoon with the only difference that this was with real people in it. And I was right. Even so I really enjoyed this movie. It was funny and heartwarming with a great cast and music. It is really a must see!

The Hunger games: Catching Fire (2013)

The hunger games is one of the most popular movies right now.
The first one I already reviewed some time ago so now it's time for the second on: Catching Fire.

Katniss and Peeta survived the 74th Hunger games. After the victory tour it's time for the 75th Hunger Games Quater quell. In the Quarter Quell victors from previous Hunger Games are going back into the arena. Peeta and Katniss have to survive another round in the arena. Will they Survive?

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is a thrilling and spectacular movie with old and new characters in it. The special effects are phenomenal and the cast is great.

I rate this movie a 8.5 / 10.

The Switch (2010)

Wally and Cassie are good friends. Neither of them has a partner but Cassie wants a kid. She decides to search a sperm donor and finds one. Wally still thinks it's a bad idea and switches the sperm donor. They loose contact but reconnect 7 years later. When Wally sees Cassie's little boy he is very surprised to see that he looks exactly like him with all of his weird tics.

This movie sounds funny but I think it fails. There are some funny parts but not many. The chemistry between the actors is alright.

Tangled (2010)

Tangled is Rapunzel who spend her entire life locked up in a high tower. Every year on her birthday there a thousands of lanterns who light up the sky. Her dream is to be there at the moment the lanterns go up but her mother wont let her. When a thief climbs in the tower so he can hide Rapunzel knows that her life is gonna change and that she is gonna see the world.

Tangled is one of the best animated movie there is! It is fun, romantic and adventurous. And for the people who think it's a kids movie you're wrong. this movie is for kids and adults!

The animation of this movie is also incredible. 

I really recommend you to watch this movie if you are in to funny, happy and energetic movies.

Wild Child (2008)

A spoiled girl from Malibu (Poppy) has gone to far and her father sends her to a British boarding school. At that school is no room for fashion, cellphones and boyfriends. Poppy has to survive the school and change but that is not as easy as she thought.

Wild Child is a fun and energetic movie. Spoiled kids, Friends, Boyfriends, Cat fights and all the other ingredients to make it a fun girl movie.

The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

The Devil Wears Prada is about a young woman (Andie) who gets a job as an assistant for the editor of one of the biggest magazines. Million of girls want that job except  Andie, she does not like the job but continues. Andie does't know a lot about fashion and the magazine is all about fashion.

This movie is perfect for a fun girls night. Great actors and dialog's. There is romance, hate, jealousy and a lot of humor in this movie what makes it very fun to watch.

The Da Vinci Code (2006)

The Da Vinci Code is about a murder in the Louvre.
There are clues hidden in paintings from Da Vinci, these clue can reveal one of the biggest secret in the world and protected for 2000 years.

The Da vinci Code is a very beautiful movie. But it is very difficult to follow. You need to see the movie several times and watch very closely then you figure out what all the clues mean.

She's the man is about Viola who covers for her twin brother (he decides to ditch school for a few weeks). She on the other hand does not go to school as Viola but as her brother. What leads to uncomfortable and romantic moments.

She's the man is a hilarious movie. The cast is great. There is sport, drama, romance and awkward situations.

Johnny English (2003)

Johnny becomes the only spy in England. He is very confident but not very smart.
He has to defend the Crown Jewels from getting stolen. His mission is not exactly going as plan.

If you have Rowan Atkinson to play a dumb spy you pretty much have a guaranteed hilarious movie.
The movie is fun for the entire family and has plenty of action, romance and comedy in it.

I am Sam (2001)

I am Sam is about Sam, A father with mental problems (mentally he is about 6 years old), who wants custody for his 7 year old daughter.
His lawyer is cold-hearted but eventually she learns the value of love and family.

This movie is absolutely beautiful. Sean Penn plays a incredible part of a mentally challenged man.
Everybody should go see this movie.

Freaky Friday (2003)

Freaky Friday is about a mother and daughter who do not understand each other and fight quite often.
Something magical happens and they suddenly wake up in each others body's.
Because mom is gonna marry in a few days they need to switch back very fast.

Good actors, a lot of humor, a bit of romance. Yes this is a nice movie for the entire family (but girls probably like it more than boys)

Kick Ass 2 (2013)

Kick-Ass is back and this time he brought some friends to end crime.
His friends are normal citizens who wore inspired by Kick-Ass. They have to defeat Red Mist since he wants to bring Kick-Ass down.

Again a very violent movie but it's not a bad movie. There is a bit of girl trouble, romance, fun, fists and guns.

Just Visiting (2001)

A knight and his Valet make use of the service of a wizard but this goes wrong. They go from the 12th century to the year 2000. Not knowing what is going on, where he is and what all the modern things are he meets his family. He and his valet need to get back to the 12th century while surviving the modern time.

Fun movie for a rainy day and you just need a laugh!

Evan Almighty (2007)

Evan Almighty is the sequel of Bruce Almighty.
Evan Baxter known from Bruce Almighty gets in contact with God.
God tells him to build an ark because there is a great flood coming.

Personally I think this sequel is not great.
It's supposed to be a funny movie but the humor is quite boring the only thing that is good are the actors.

Kick Ass (2010)

Kick Ass is about a geek who wants to save the world. He trains as much as he can but it is a lot harder than he expected. He then meets Big Daddy and Hit Girl. This duo is father and daughter who already fight crimes.

It is a very violent movie and although I normally don't like that I really enjoyed watching this movie. There is besides violence also a lot of humor.
The cast is fantastic with Chloë Grace Moretz and Nicolas Cage.

Cool Runnings (1993)

Ya Man!!!

That is the first thing that I think of if I hear Cool Runnings.
The movie is about a Jamaican Bobsled team. There is not much more to tell. If you have a bad day, just put this movie on and you will laugh in no time! The movie is hilarious. The cast is great and so is the story in this movie.

Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant (2009)

Cirque du Freak: A Vampire's Assistant is about Darren who meets a strange man on a Freak Show. The strange man turns out to be a vampire. Eventually Darren becomes a vampire and has to fight against his best friend.

A fun movie for teenagers. It has a great cast, some action, drama, comedy. Overall a good movie to watch.
